It was an honor to design this interactive station for Family Day at the Alabama Museum of Natural History! Kids had the chance to be Garden Explorers and interact with soil, seeds, and plants!!! One of my students and museum volunteers supported the station I designed since I could not be there in person. They are ANGELS with a heart for sharing the natural sciences with the community in a FUN way. I am thankful to be a part of the University of Alabama every day!!!!!

This present from Persephone Books is one of the best I have ever received! My heart sister, Kristine Kelly Brick, knows me so well!!! Persephone books focuses on reprinting neglected fiction and non-fiction books by mostly women writers. And look at this packaging! They use ReWrap fabric gift wrap. Gorgeous and reusable! I am so excited! I found the PERFECT dress for my and Paul's big day! Not only is it gorgeous -- it is ECO-FRIENDLY! Lauren, my consultant, was exactly who I needed to help me with this journey. She just "got" me. I adore her. This company is filled with heart. A generational passion for craftsmanship and a passion for responsible fashion. I am honored to have them as a part of my story and am thrilled to be able to pass the dress I chose to one of my nieces one day if they want to wear it!

These reusable kitchen towels are one of my favorite things I received as a Christmas gift! They hang on my paper towel holder and easily rewrap after washing. I still keep a roll of paper towels around for emergency moments - like a doggie potty accident. Otherwise, these are now my go-to! Love not spending money each month on paper towels!
