In August 1991, the company relocated from Irvington, Alabama to Highway 31 in Spanish Fort, Alabama. We have more than 25 years of experience in the wood treating business. Everwood started with a small cylinder in Irvington, Alabama. As the company grew, so did our property and production capabilities. Everwood has added a remanufacturing facility, two dry kilns, a stacker and operates fully automated computerized treating cylinders. This automation allows for consistent quality control in all of our treating. We also have several warehouses that offer lumber storage for customers. We provide exception treated wood, along with moulder services. We also offer re-saw, ripping, straight line rip and custom packaging. Everwood Treatment Company owns its own fleet of flatbed trucks. We currently offer truck delivery east to Apalachicola, west to New Orleans and north to Birmingham. Everwood also delivers to rail loading sites in Pensacola, Fl and Mobile, Al. We have multiple 330 foot storage warehouses at our location in Spanish Fort. We offer long term storage, giving our customers the ability to pull from their inventory and make use of our many services. Whether you need to store lumber for a couple of months or for a couple of years, we have a solution to your storage and inventory needs. Everwood has two kiln dryers at our plant in Spanish Fort. We offer KDAT for lumber and plywood. We bring in a third party kiln engineer annually to recertify our kiln operator and check the kilns performance. Our location in Spanish Fort, Al gives us an advantage for shipping out of the Port of Mobile. Our service area is from Louisiana to Maine, with the majority of our business being in the Southeast United States. Our location is a geographical advantage with the export market because a majority of the export customers utilize the Port of Mobile. We also ship to the ports of Pascagoula, Mississippi and Jacksonville, Florida. The utilization of these ports offers our customers the ability to be competitive worldwide.
