On March 28th, we hosted a Rotator-Integrated Extrication training at our shop with several local fire departments and emergency responders in attendance. At the time, we never imagined we would need to put that training into action so soon, but we are incredibly thankful for the opportunity to have learned and prepared together. On July 1st, we received a call for a Rotator Extrication in Chester, Illinois. It was one of those incidents that reminds us why training, preparation, and teamwork are so important. The coordination between all agencies on scene was outstanding, and everyone came together with a common goal. The driver survived with minor injuries.

We would like to thank the Randolph County Sheriff's Office, MedStar Ambulance, Illinois State Police, Chester Fire Department, Ellis Grove Fire Department, Sparta Fire Department, Steeleville Fire Department, Randolph County ESDA, IDOT, Randolph County Highway Department, ARCH Air Medical Services, Chester Police Department, Chester Street Department, Road District #2, and anyone else who assisted that day. We are grateful for the professionalism, dedication, and teamwork shown by everyone involved. When called upon, each agency stepped up and worked together seamlessly. Most importantly, everyone on scene was focused on saving a life together. Thank you to Cole Elder for the photos!

Today was a little different than our usual day. This afternoon, we were called out to assist a local gas station by providing a lift while maintenance was performed on the Submersible Turbine Pump. The crane on our service truck was the perfect truck for the job. Every job is different, and we’re always glad to help however we can!

Thank you to everyone yesterday!

Today was a powerful reminder of what makes Randolph County such a special place to work.
A serious traffic crash brought together an incredible team of first responders and support personnel, all working side by side with one common goal: to do everything possible to help save a life. Watching so many agencies come together seamlessly, especially in the extreme heat, was something to be proud of.
Thank you to the Randolph County Sheriff's Office, MedStar Ambulance, Illinois State Police, Chester Fire Department, Ellis Grove Fire Department, Sparta Fire Department, Steeleville Fire Department, Randolph County ESDA, IDOT, Randolph County Highway Department, ARCH Air Medical Services, J&S Towing, Chester Police Department, Chester Street Department, Road District #2, and everyone else who responded. Your professionalism, teamwork, and dedication were truly remarkable.
A special thank you also goes to the crew from JF Electric, who stopped by with cold drinks for everyone working on the scene. That simple act of kindness was greatly appreciated and meant a great deal on such a hot day.
When emergencies happen, agency names and uniforms don't matter. What matters is people coming together, relying on one another, and doing everything possible for someone in need. Today was an outstanding example of that teamwork, and I couldn't be more proud of everyone involved.

June has been a busy month with the many winch outs on semis we've completed. We appreciate everyone who has trusted J&S Towing when they needed a hand. Thank you for your support, and we're always here to help when you need us!

We were honored to host the 404th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade and participating soldiers for training at our facility this past Saturday. Thank you for your dedication, service, and commitment to continued learning. We appreciate the opportunity to support training that strengthens partnerships between military and local emergency responders.

We were dispatched Monday for a two-vehicle rollover accident. Thankfully, everyone involved walked away without injuries.
It's not every day you come across both a truck and trailer resting on their side like this. Every call is different, and this one certainly kept everyone busy from start to finish. Accidents like these serve as a reminder to slow down, stay alert, and always put safety first. We’re grateful this situation ended without anyone getting hurt. We would also like to give a special thank you to Nick Stork for sharing some of the photos and video we greatly appreciate it!

PS Thank you to Sparta Police Department, Randolph County Sheriff, and Illinois State Police for all your help. Also huge thanks to Sparta Fire Department for your assistance, traffic control and help with the cleanup!

A little trip down memory lane. We’ve had some classic in the shop recently. We always enjoy the opportunity to help preserve them and keep them road ready for years to come!
