I worked in natural health care for over 12 years as a Chiropractic Assistant and Radiology Tech.

During this time, I was privileged to be taught by two amazing chiropractors, Dr. Greg Lillie and Dr. Larry Dixon. Their knowledge of the human body and the intricate way we are wonderfully made has increased my desire to learn more. I also attended Brimhall Seminars, which integrate emotional release, nutrition and detoxification with balancing the nervous system to bring the body to a more healt

hy state. As I learned about all of these areas, I began to see that relaxation of muscles in conjunction with these other methods created an environment for the body to be healthy and whole. A personal experience of extreme pain in my leg muscles from blood clots many years ago was totally released by the gentle touch of massage therapy by Claudia Orwig! The emotional release, as well as the muscle release brought me such relief….I had to know more. Thus, Iowa Lakes with great instructors and a program that took me further into the wonderful arena of how the human body works and how to help each person become healthier to enjoy life to the fullest. We are three part beings: body, soul (mind, will and emotions) and spirit…all three need to work together to bring health. All are part of the massage experience! Massage Education:
