Job Summary:

The Farm Nutrients Equipment Operator manages the litter in the manure barns including placement, turning, and drying, blending, and taking samples to monitor quality and process effectiveness. Operates loaders and other equipment to unload, manage inventory, blend fertilizer and load trucks and is responsible for rolling stock repair and maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Operates skid steer loader to clean out chicken houses
* Handles the blending of materials used for composting of spent hens and mortality
* Inspects and maintains all equipment
* Spread manure on crops
* Transports supplies and equipment from location to location
* Takes samples of manure coming out of houses for laboratory analysis
* Takes daily moisture samples
* Tracks loads, calculates total tons, checks and mark fields, and guides trucks to proper locations
* Performs other functions including site and equipment maintenance as defined by the supervisor
* Assists as needed during spring and fall fertilizer seasons with equipment moving and maintenance

Monitor maintenance and mechanical systems at the Clarion site including but not limited to routine and preventative maintenance of process equipment, buildings, and grounds. Complete maintenance tasks and related projects. Demonstrate productivity and successful completion of assigned tasks in allotted time. Work closely with maintenance staff and managers to resolve issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Repair and maintain machinery and equipment including but not limited to pumps, rolling stock, electrical components, tanks, vessels, pipe welding, heat exchanges, elevator equipment, building grounds, and other various equipment
* Preventative maintenance and minor repairs on wheeled equipment at the plant
* Maintain self-awareness on safety issues and requirements and report any safety concerns immediately to supervisor
* Work cooperatively to support plant operations personnel and contractors to achieve completion of workload in a safe, efficient manner
* Effectively communicate with Maintenance team and other departments to keep them informed and resolve issues
* Maintain a team environment with all other plant departments
* Work closely with production and maintenance personnel to reduce or eliminate down time
* Support efforts to maximize production through creative problem solving, adaptation, and correction of process bottlenecks. Focus on continuous improvement in all aspects of the job
* Communicate maintenance performance to and carry out all directives from Leadership
* Complete work orders and document the time, tasks and parts/supplies needed to complete the project. Maintain updated documentation of all machinery and equipment changes

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required:

* 2 years of experience in instrument and electrical work in an industrial processing facility or machine shop
* 2 years of experience welding, cutting, gearbox repair, pump alignment, material handling systems, and preventative maintenance.
* Knowledge of and ability to operate/program computer control systems (PLC, DCS)
* Ability to read technical work orders, drawings, and schematics
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The Production Technician position will be responsible for operating the machinery and equipment necessary in the production of liquid product and co-products in addition to loading these products. This position will require testing and monitoring of the entire process on a 12-hour shift basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Expected to learn all areas of the plant to include litter area, over area and liquid area.
* Required to manage the plant process within set parameters through utilization of the distributive control systems
* Depending on co-product logistics, may be fully or partially responsible for material handler duties
* Inspect litter received to ensure it meets Company standards
* Weighing in/out
* Timely loading and unloading of all products and co-products by railcar and truck
* Proper completion of all records related to the products loaded for shipment from the plant site
* Responsible for testing all required equipment and completion of all related records
* Submit work orders using the CPMS software
* Collect, test, analyze and record results of samples taken
* Clean equipment based on recommended schedule
* Housekeeping as related but not limited to the cleanliness and orderly organization of all areas which are required to be cleaned by the end of every shift
* Keep current on all operating equipment in your section
* Operates equipment as needed to ensure timely delivery, and spreading of manure (equipment may include loaders, trucks, spreaders, and scale house equipment)

Position Summary: The QA/QC Analyst I is an active member of the operations staff who will sample, analyze, and document analytical results of field and lab tests. The position will require the sampling and analysis of various process control points, documenting results and maintaining a comprehensive set of records.

Required Skills and Responsibilities:

The Farm Nutrients Truck Driver handles hauling manure, liquid, and granular products. Hours will include some weekends.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Load raw chicken manure and granular products
* Occasional climbing of ladders during loading and unloading
* Schedule and perform routine maintenance checks – oil, fluids, etc.
* Complete documentation of loads hauled including bill of laden, scale tickets and proper sampling (when necessary)
* Over the road hauling of manure
* Drive truck for on-farm pick up and working with various on-farm loading equipment
* Perform preventative maintenance and maintenance associated with equipment used
* Obtains and maintains a Commercial Manure License annually
* Perform other tasks as assigned
