We’re headed to the 2026 New England Healthcare Engineers' Society Fall Conference next week in CT! If you’ll be at Foxwoods, stop by Booth 50 and say hello to Michelle Hilger and Kim Wall.

At Mongoose, we support facilities as an emergency power consultant, industry advocate, and diesel fuel specialist—helping organizations strengthen reliability, resilience, and long-term system performance.

Come see us! We’d love to hear what challenges your team is facing and share how we may be able to help.

When Mason Massey talks about wins, or racing in general, he uses “we.”

He’s quick to recognize the team behind the effort. It’s a good reminder for any of us working as part of a team. Recognize the people around you and remember that success is rarely a solo effort.

Onsite power and NASCAR racing. It’s a natural fit.

We enjoyed a great couple of days in Richmond, VA, bringing together industry partners, customers, and NASCAR Driver Mason Massey.

We kicked things off with an evening at Topgolf before heading to Richmond Raceway for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race, where Mason got behind the wheel of the No. 20 Mongoose Power Solutions truck with the Bill McAnally Racing team.

For us, racing is about more than having our logo on a truck. It’s an opportunity to bring people together, build relationships, and drive awareness of the onsite power industry in a completely different way.

Thanks to everyone who joined us in Richmond!

The 2025 edition of NFPA 110 includes important updates that can support safer testing and maintenance, more reliable technology, and greater efficiency for already-stretched healthcare facility teams.

Some facilities are spending hours each week on manual testing and documentation while operating with significantly reduced staff.

It’s time for the industry to rally together so CMS-regulated healthcare facilities can benefit from newer standards, too.

Resilience was the defining theme at last week’s ASHE Innovation Conference, a focus our own Tony Crandall saw firsthand. To help healthcare facilities meet these evolving demands, we’re sharing a new guest article from EPSS expert Steve Works.

Steve breaks down the major modernizations in the newly adopted 2025 Edition of NFPA 110, including:
🔸 Explicit approval for modern battery chemistries like NiZn.
🔸 Why cranking voltage drop is now the "gold standard" metric for testing emergency readiness.

The SENS SuperTorque® 8Z platform aligns perfectly with these safety-driven changes, offering hazmat-free NiZn batteries and a built-in charger that actively captures cranking voltage drop.
