PART-TIME SHORT-FORM VIDEO EDITOR
Remote | Spokane / North Idaho

Stupid Easy Media is looking for a reliable, creative short-form video editor to join our growing media team.

This is a part-time, remote position with long-term growth potential. Applicants must be local to Spokane or North Idaho for occasional in-person collaboration.

About Us
Stupid Easy Media is a media and content production company serving businesses throughout Spokane and North Idaho. We specialize in brand-driven storytelling, short-form social content, promotional videos, and ongoing monthly content for local businesses.

We’re expanding a new division and looking for an editor who can eventually take on a significant portion of our production workload.

Position Overview
You’ll receive scripts, shot lists, and footage from our shoots. Your job is to turn that footage into clean, engaging, on-brand short-form videos for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.

Responsibilities Include:
• Editing short-form videos, typically 15–60 seconds
• Working in Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut
• Following provided scripts, shot lists, and brand guidelines
• Maintaining consistent pacing, color, typography, and tone
• Organizing, naming, and delivering files through our internal system
• Collaborating with our social media manager to prepare assets for posting
• Applying feedback professionally and making revisions quickly
• Bringing creative ideas without needing micromanagement
• Managing deadlines and communicating clearly
• Occasionally editing longer promos or storytelling videos, with bonus pay opportunities

Requirements:
• Must be local to Spokane or North Idaho
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut
• Strong understanding of short-form social content and current trends
• Able to follow direction and established branding
• Comfortable receiving constructive feedback
• Organized, detail-oriented, and self-sufficient
• Reliable with communication and deadlines
• Must provide a portfolio showcasing short-form editing work
• Must have a computer capable of editing 4K footage
• Must have stable internet for transferring large files
• Able to work remotely and collaborate digitally

Bonus Skills:
• Experience with color grading
• Understanding of storytelling pacing for testimonial-style content
• Ability to create simple motion graphics or text animations
• Experience editing for multiple brands at once
• Familiarity with vertical video safe zones, formatting, and platform standards
