Construction Materials Testing Technician/Special Inspector
Intermountain Materials Testing (IMT) is a geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing and inspection firm serving clients throughout Northeast Washington and North Idaho from our office in Spokane Valley. Due to a rapidly increasing workload, we are accepting applications from individuals experienced in sampling, testing, and inspection of construction materials (soils, concrete, masonry, HMA, steel, etc.) IMT offers competitive wage and benefit programs including medical/dental/vision insurance, paid holidays, paid personal time off, medical leave and retirement programs after appropriate waiting periods.
Certification in one or more fields by WAQTC, ICC/WABO, ACI or other recognized agency in an appropriate area is required. Work hours generally occur between 7:00 and 5:00, Monday through Friday, although hours outside of that range are frequently required. Overtime on short notice is required. Occasional weekend work is required.
The position will involve the testing and inspection of construction materials in the laboratory and on construction project sites.
The selected applicant(s) will possess a high school diploma and be proficient at algebra level mathematics and written/spoken English.

Salary range is $16.00 to $28.00 hourly depending upon experience and certification level.
