Today was definitely a day to reflect, celebrate, and look to the future as Wagstaff, Inc. Spokane celebrated 80 years in business! The milestone celebration was part of Wagstaff’s monthly Leroy Daze event and included an employee car show and BBQ Smoke-Off competition!

Employees showcased their time and talents and provided cookout cuisine in five different categories to feed their co-workers in the Wagstaff BBQ Smoke-Off. Staff members also polished up and displayed their classic cars, trucks and motorcycles.

From humble beginnings in a backyard pump house in 1946, to the recent commissioning of the 18,000 square foot Shipping Department building on the Spokane campus this year, Wagstaff has come a long way in eight decades! It would not have been possible without the efforts of all Wagstaffers past, present and future – here’s to all the celebrations that await on the path ahead!

Happy 4th of July from all of us at Wagstaff! 🇺🇸
This year feels extra special. We're celebrating America's 250th birthday and our own 80th year as a company. From our beginnings in a small machine shop in Spokane Valley to becoming world leaders in aluminum direct chill casting, we're truly grateful for the freedom and opportunities our country gives us. We’re also thankful to the hardworking teams, past and present, who made and continue to make what we do possible.
Wishing you and your families a safe, happy 4th of July filled with good food, laughter, and a little fireworks magic.

Wagstaff Applied Technologies is looking for 𝗧𝗜𝗚 𝗙𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 to join our team on both 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 and 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁.

This role focuses on high-quality stainless steel fabrication, straightening, and welding (gas & electric), with additional work on carbon steel and exotic metals. All work is performed under our Nuclear Quality Assurance program.
If you have strong fabrication and welding skills and take pride in precision work, we want to hear from you!

A small but enthusiastic group of Wagstaff employees celebrated Earth Day last Friday afternoon by participating in the annual “Unveil the Trail” event on the Centennial Trail. Our volunteers were grateful for fantastic early spring weather as they cleaned Mile 37-38 of the trail, and got it ready for the walkers, bikers, runners and skaters who will be visiting soon. We’re very happy to be a part of this yearly outing, and are thankful to Friends of the Centennial Trail for the opportunity!
