About a month ago, our sales lead (yours truly - Kelly) joined the Spokane chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC). NAWIC Spokane Chapter 143
While we may not be a construction company, a large portion of our clientele is. Gaining a deeper understanding of how their businesses operate - and how our products are used in real jobsite environments - is incredibly valuable to the way we serve our customers.
Last week, I had the pleasure of attending the NAWIC Pacific Northwest Spring Forum at the beautiful Coeur d’Alene Resort. It was an amazing experience connecting not only with members of my chapter, but also networking with inspiring women from across the Pacific Northwest.
One of the highlights was a jobsite tour of the Sherman Tower project hosted by Garco Construction. It was especially rewarding to see crews in action wearing safety apparel produced by us at Purfect Logos (including Rainbow and WPI gear out in the field!).
We also heard from several outstanding speakers throughout the event. A standout moment for me was a fireside chat hosted by Sarah Cottam from ABC, featuring an incredible panel of female business owners and leaders who shared their insights and experiences. Thank you Brooke, Regina, Sheryl, & Keely for being so candid!
We wrapped up the week with a memorable dinner and awards banquet aboard a Coeur d’Alene Lake cruise - an unforgettable way to close out such a meaningful event.
As a sponsor, I also represented Purfect Logos at our vendor table, which made for a busy (but rewarding!) few days.
I’m grateful for the connections made and conversations shared, and I look forward to collaborating on future projects with many of the amazing people I met!
