Today, I’m giving you PERMISSION!

Permission to remove things from your space that don’t serve you anymore. Things that came as a set or go together, but you aren’t using.

Does it make you itchy to split up a set?

Today, I realized that the stand for my immersion blender looks nice, but it is a huge pain when putting it away AND a makes a mess when taking it back out - not well thought out at all! I am annoyed every time I put it away! (See pics and captions below for proof of design stupidity 😆).

So, I tossed it.

Then, I found my knife sheaths nicely stored in the back of a drawer (just in case I need them for an event, I said!) I decided I could just wrap it in a towel if I needed to bring one.

So, I tossed those, too!!

Don’t waste your space and time caring for things that you don’t love - or that make your blood pressure rise when you use them! 🤣

😅 Quick decluttering challenge!

Grab a box or a bag and walk through your home. Put 10 items in it that you no longer use or love to be donated. Add 5 items every day this week.

On Sunay, put it in your car to be dropped off next week when you are out running errands and BOOM! - 40 less items for you to take care of! ❤️

Added a little ✨razzle dazzle✨ to OUR family command center with some wallpaper and I ❤️ it!
This area helps to keep us organized with the following:

⭐️ 2 months of calendars with family activities so the kids know what’s happening (I just rotate the lower board to the top at the end of the month - easy peasy)

⭐️ Weekly dinner plan

⭐️ Grocery list

⭐️ Extra whiteboard space for notes and future dinner requests (always chicken and dumplings or Caesar wraps!)

⭐️ Cork board and catch all basket for important papers and action items.

Simple, but effective! And so much cuter now!

GARAGES! They are easily overlooked when it comes to organizing because they hold SO MUCH! Seasonal decor, sports equipment, camping gear, hobbies, paint, tools, hardware, and the list goes on!

Have you ever gotten started on a big organizing project only to lose steam in the middle of it?! That's what happened in this garage! Everything came out, but the magnitude of the project set in soon after, and everything was piled back in.

There were some existing storage solutions that were no longer serving them well, so they opted to update to more suitable shelving. After assembling shelving and adding a few new bins - EVERYTHING now has a HOME....and there was even room to bring in some bins from a nearby shed to make them more accessible! Double win!
