We are looking for a new Production Team Member. We keep our hours very family friendly, and have a very close knit team. The hours being Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, with weekends.

There is plenty of room for moving up and growing into a career. Willing to train anyone with the right attitude and eagerness to learn. Most of our staff has been here for more than several years. We pride ourselves in the fact we have very little turnover with plenty of on the job training. This is a great spot to build a career and better your skill set's while working your way up in a company that has been in Spokane for over 50 years.

The Production Team Member would be working with screen printing, digital printing, laminating, computer cut graphics, and finish work. Familiarity with color profiling a plus.


Responsibilities / Duties:
• Computer skills ex. Log into jobs via a job tracking system.
• Effectively communicate with production manager. Interact with all departments to develop effective solutions and practices.
• Visually inspect products and request quality checks from Art Department.
• Maintain quality and production standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Must be willing to cross-train and assist in other departments as necessary.

Qualifications / Skills:
• Ability to work alone and with others.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and support team mentality.
• Effective verbal communication.
• Must have an eye for color matching.
• Must be able to lift large vinyl rolls.

Designer Decal is hiring for a Prepress Specialist / Graphic Designer to assist with the layout and production of vehicle graphics, decals, banners, and signs. Our art department is looking for an experienced individual in a graphics related environment. You will be responsible mainly for proofing and layout of production-ready art files. While there is some graphic design work, the position is primarily working with customers’ existing art files.

We use only current technologies, with newer workstations and up-to-date software and hardware. We have a large variety of customers, which keeps projects interesting and challenging.

Responsibilities:

• Study work orders and determine job requirements
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Use appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic, familiarity with branding a plus
• Amend proofs according to feedback
• Proper construction of production files once client has approved proof
• Familiarity with production processes and printing presses to ensure best practices are followed
• Willingness to be flexible and responsive to our customer’s and department’s needs, able to function as a team
• Up-to-date skill set in Adobe Creative Suites (mainly Illustrator and Photoshop, some InDesign)

Requirements:

• Proven graphic design experience
• Strong portfolio of graphic design examples (attach pdf or include link to portfolio)
• MUST be FLUENT with Adobe Creative Suites, especially Illustrator and Photoshop. This is a fast paced and deadline-driven position so you will be expected to be able to hit the ground running.
• Keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Exceptional problem solving skills
• Degree in Design or related field is a plus

• Visually inspect products and request quality checks from Art Department.

• Maintain quality and production standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Observe and monitor machine operations to detect and correct malfunctions.

• Maintain digital printing presses and execute preventative maintenance.

• Must be willing to cross-train and assist in other departments as necessary.
