One of the best investments you can make is in the memories you'll create.

My recent honeymoon through Italy and France was an unforgettable experience, and it reminded me that your financial goals can include more than just retirement. Whether it's traveling the world, taking your dream family vacation, or checking destinations off your bucket list, saving and investing with purpose can help make those experiences a reality.

This week has been an incredibly difficult one for our Spokane community.

The devastating fires have brought heartbreak, uncertainty, and loss to so many of our neighbors. Our thoughts are with every family who has been displaced, every person facing damage or loss, and the first responders and emergency personnel who have worked tirelessly to protect our community.

And yet, even in the midst of such a difficult time, we are reminded of something truly special about Spokane: we take care of one another.

Neighbors are helping neighbors. Local businesses and organizations are stepping forward with resources and support. Volunteers are giving their time. People are opening their homes, donating what they can, caring for animals, sharing information, and simply asking, "How can I help?"

It is a powerful reminder that community is about more than where we live. It is about how we show up for one another when it matters most.

There is still a long road ahead for many affected by these fires. As the immediate danger passes and the work of rebuilding begins, I hope we continue to surround our neighbors with the same generosity, compassion, and care we have witnessed this week.

To our firefighters, first responders, volunteers, local organizations, businesses, and every individual who has stepped up to help: thank you.

Spokane is strong, but more importantly, Spokane is caring. In challenging moments like these, that spirit of community shines especially bright.

Six years ago, I packed up a small U Haul and drove across the country from Charlotte, North Carolina, to Spokane, Washington, beginning a brand new chapter of life!

Moving to a city where I didn't know anyone was both exciting and intimidating. Over the last six years, I've met incredible people, built lasting friendships, grown in ways I never expected, and had the opportunity to help so many individuals, families, and business owners through my work as a financial advisor.

I'm thankful for the amazing community that welcomed me and I'm grateful for all the experiences this beautiful area has to offer!

Here's to the memories made over the past six years and the opportunities still to come!

As a financial advisor, these are some of the most common questions I hear:

• Am I on track for retirement?
• Am I saving enough?
• What should I do with my old 401(k)?
• Should I contribute to a Roth IRA or a Traditional IRA?
• Do I have enough life insurance to protect my family?
• When can I afford to retire?
• Am I invested appropriately for my goals?

The truth is, there isn't a one size fits all answer. What makes sense for one person may not be the right strategy for someone else.

My role is to help clients bring clarity to these questions, evaluate their options, and create a financial strategy that's aligned with their goals and priorities.

If you've been asking yourself any of these questions, you're not alone. It may be time to have a conversation.

When was the last time you reviewed your financial strategy?

Life changes quickly. A new job, marriage, growing family, business opportunity, or retirement may all be reasons to revisit your financial goals and make sure your strategy still aligns with where you want to go.

Many people assume they're doing everything they should, only to discover there were opportunities they hadn't considered or risks they hadn't addressed.

As a financial advisor, I help individuals, families, and business owners organize their finances, identify opportunities, and create strategies designed to support both their current priorities and long term goals.

If it's been a while since you've taken a fresh look at your financial picture, I'd love the opportunity to connect. Let's have a conversation about where you are today and where you want to be tomorrow.

Introducing the Papols!

As we begin this exciting new chapter together, I've been thinking a lot about how marriage changes more than just your last name or your address. It changes the way you think about your finances.

You begin making decisions as a team. Your priorities shift, your budget evolves, and your financial goals become shared goals. Whether it's saving for a home, planning for future children, investing, paying off debt, or protecting one another, marriage is the perfect time to build a financial strategy together.

As a financial advisor, I often tell couples that getting married is one of the best reasons to sit down and review your finances. It's an opportunity to align your goals, update beneficiaries, evaluate your insurance needs, and create a strategy that supports the future you're building together.

Money conversations aren't always easy, but they are some of the most important conversations you'll have. Starting them early can make all the difference.

Here's to new beginnings, shared dreams, and building a strong future together!

Growing wealth isn't just about choosing the right investments. It's about how your accounts, tax strategies, and long term financial goals work together.

Many people have retirement accounts, investment accounts, and savings, but few have a coordinated strategy that brings everything together.

If you're ready to take a more intentional approach to your financial future, I'd be happy to help you evaluate how your financial picture is working as a whole and identify opportunities that may better align with your goals.

If you've been wondering whether your current strategy is still the right fit, let's start the conversation!
