✨ Meet Kiara Wells, our newest Main Street Strategies intern!

When she’s not working toward the finish line of her college journey, Kiara enjoys spending time with family and baking. But one of the things she is most proud of is something especially meaningful: she is soon to become a first-generation college graduate. 💛

As co-founders who believe deeply in the value of education, growth, and opening doors for others, we are incredibly proud to have the opportunity to support Kiara as she works toward accomplishing this goal for herself and her family.

🥳And we already know she is going to fit right in around here!

When we asked Kiara what interests her most about public relations and storytelling, she shared: “What interests me most about PR and storytelling is the ability to take someone’s idea or brand and turn it into something that people can connect with. It’s not only about getting attention, it’s about understanding your audience, creating genuine connections, and building something to last a lifetime.”

We couldn’t agree more. At Main Street Strategies, we believe the best communication starts with connection, and we’re so excited to have Kiara learning, creating, and growing alongside us.

A little different kind of Main Street Strategies content today. 🌼

Our co-founder, Tiffany, spent the morning yesterday walking in the Parade, and was able to bring some of her favorite people along with her!

“My husband, son, niece and nephew joined me! There was lots of waving, candy, and general parade fun. 🥳

The Library’s float read ‘Free People Read Freely,’ and I cannot agree enough with this motto. It meant something to me to bring along the little kids in support of this very simple message.

And yes, your eyes do not deceive you. That is Dolly Parton as Lady Liberty! 🗽🤠👢

Dolly dedicated herself to children’s literacy through her Imagination Library. It’s beautiful to see our community support the Imagination Library of Ohio, including Bloomora Botanicals and Crafted & Cured

“Petal and Pine Farms in Monroe Township, New Jersey is the perfect place to experience these colorful beauties in all their glory. This pic wasn’t taken on their grounds, but you NEED to visit. There’s just something special about wandering among rows of bright, cheerful flowers on a sunny day. It really does feel like a little piece of heaven. So when a friend asked where she could pick up some pretty flowers for a family dinner this past summer, I had to take her to Petal and Pine Flower Farm!☀️🌸

“There are certain events that require absolutely no convincing to get me out of the house.

An evening talking about female archetypes in literature? I was obviously going.

Last night, I got to see Jaime of The Velvet Bookmark Collective (The Velvet Bookmark After Dark)do what she does best: take literature and turn it into the kind of conversation you want to keep having after the event is over. Which is particularly good timing, because Jaime begins working with Main Street Strategies October 1, and now I have approximately 47 ideas.

🕯️🫙✨The evening was held at Seven Sisters Apothecary & Art (Seven Sisters Apothecary & Art), which was such a good fit for the conversation and also exactly the kind of local place I love discovering through MSS. Nancy and I have a photo shoot coming up in October with Tri-State + Travel Photographer | Kat, and I bought my outfit there. I strutted out of the dressing room willing every Stevie Nicks vibe I could muster.

Apparently I can’t just attend a nice event anymore without mentally turning it into a list of ideas, collaborations, and possibilities. Occupational hazard, I suppose.

❓What’s keeping small business owners up at night? Apparently, we’re not the only ones with a few things on our minds. 🤪

⚖️Rising costs, revenue, and employee benefits are among the concerns small business owners are navigating right now. And while every business is different, we know firsthand that running a small business means constantly balancing what needs attention today with where you want to go tomorrow.

🤝That’s part of why we created Main Street Strategies. Sage and Madison in Sag Harbor (The Hamptons), New York is one of those places that feels like an experience from the moment you arrive. Step inside to browse the beautifully curated boutique, then head outside to the café, grab a seat, and enjoy something delicious.

Nancy’s pick? The Caramel Honey Latte. ☕️🍯 The perfect little treat to sip while taking in all the charm of Sag Harbor.

And the location makes it even better. Sage and Madison is right around the corner from other local shops and just a few minutes’ walk from the water, making it the perfect starting point for an afternoon spent wandering, shopping local, and discovering everything this community has to offer.

🥳We’re excited to welcome Kevin Sousa to the Main Street Strategies team!

One of the things we love most about Main Street is that there’s always room for new people, new ideas, and new perspectives. As our newest intern, Kevin will be joining us behind the scenes to learn more about public relations, storytelling, social media, small business communications, and everything that goes into helping our clients tell their stories with confidence and purpose.

🤝We already love Kevin’s ability to strike up a conversation with anyone! He loves soccer (and is a youth soccer coach for Red Bull New York), getting to know people from all walks of life, and his genuine nature adds a welcome perspective to every conversation.☀️

At Main Street Strategies, we believe some of the best learning happens when you roll up your sleeves, ask questions, try new things, and become part of the community. We’re excited to have Kevin along for the journey.
