Brush 115 is enroute to Spokane to assist on the numerous fires that are burning around the region.

Red Flag Warnings are out for all of Central and Eastern Washington and North Idaho on Saturday. Extreme Fire Weather is forecast from 2 PM-8 PM Saturday, with SW winds 20-30 MPH with gusts up to 50 MPH for the Waterville Plateau, Okanogan Valley, Columbia Basin, Colville Reservation, Spokane area, Palouse, and Snake River. This is a particularly dangerous situation. Very rapid fire growth can be expected with ongoing and new fires.

Brush #113 and Tender #131 were mobilized on Wednesday as part of the Northeast Washington Strike Team to support firefighting operations on the Sinlahekin Fire in Northern Washington near Tonasket.

Brush 113 has returned from the Lyons ferry fire near Perry, WA. The fire has now been designated contained and has a final footprint of 33,749 acres. Brush 113 was assigned to a NE wildland strike team and assisted in structure protection and back burn operations. The crew would like to share some pictures they took while engaged in firefighting operations.

On July 16th brush truck 113 was deployed to Perry, WA to support firefighting operations for the Lyons Ferry Fire. The fire is now estimated to be approximately 30,000 acres . 113 is apart of a northeast wild land strike team consisting of engines from across North eastern Washington. Brush 113 is assisting in structure protection and back burn operations.

On July 9th Brush truck 113 and district crew were deployed to the B&O fire in Okanogan, WA as apart of the Washington north east wildland strike team deployed from Spokane. Strike team members assisted in structure protection, assisting hand crews, and extinguishing hotspots inside the fires footprint.
