After 15+ years as a freelance graphic designer, I think it’s finally time I find the courage to start advertising myself.
Most people don’t know the story of how I got into design. In a lot of ways, I took a "backwards" route compared to most graphic designers. I went to art school and earned my Associate's Degree in Graphic Design. I graduated in December - which, let’s be real, is not the ideal time to job hunt.
Around that same time, my aunt (who was a freelance designer) was looking to step away from the industry. Over a casual Christmas/New Year’s party, she offered to pass a handful of her clients on to me.
And just like that, at 19 years old, I found myself self-employed. I was thrilled… and terrified. It could be isolating, especially when I needed guidance, feedback, or just someone to tell me I wasn’t completely failing. But somehow, I figured it out.
This journey has been wild, rewarding, and one I wouldn’t trade for anything. I absolutely love my life as a designer and artist.
Whether you’re here to follow along on my creative adventure or you’re looking for someone to help bring your vision to life, here’s a snapshot of some of the work I’ve done over the years:
High-end bridal venue magazines
Gettysburg tourist publications
Selling, designing, and producing the Codorus Blast program (plus billboards and print materials)
Playbills for local schools and theater productions
Freelance work for a marketing agency—digital promos, web management, and print, mostly for flooring brands
Web design
Logo design & brand management
Business cards, brochures, billboards, and rack cards
Digital artwork, paintings, and illustrations
If you ever want to chat, get an estimate, or just cheer me on, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Even after all these years, every time I share my work it still feels like I’m baring my soul. 😅
Thanks for being here. 💛
