Dear Friends of Once Upon a Vine,
Wanted to give you a quick update. We still haven't been able to find a buyer for the business, yet, but our broker has until the end of September to do so. On September 30th, we will close our business if it hasn't sold. There are no more time slots to start or make wine. If you need to contact me, Microsoft has deleted my business email so you will need to email me at my personal email address [email protected]. Please don't call the store or use our old business email or try to message me on Facebook (remember that FB won't let me see any of my messages for some reason?)
We appreciate your support over the years and hope that you are able to find other businesses where you can make your own wine. (search Google for "wine making near me.") It was a wonderful 8 years! Lori and Dianne

Good morning, Friends of Once Upon a Vine,
As most of you know, my husband and business partner, Pat Bassett , passed away 3 1/2 years ago. He and I had created Once Upon a Vine. When he passed, I realized I needed to wait to make the decision to sell the business or keep it going. For 3 1/2 years, I have kept it going with the help of Dianne Greer and my wonderful volunteers.
This year, I "hit" a milestone birthday and realized that there are so many things I want to do in the final chapter of my life. I want to travel more and see the world. I want to spend more time with my special man. I also don't want my customers to be neglected.
So, I have made the decision to sell Once Upon a Vine. It's the only business in over 100 miles where you can make wine, beer, and cider. It has so much potential but I don't have the time to allow it to see it's potential and that's a bit sad.

Good morning, Friends of Once Upon a Vine! Just wanted to remind you that Saturday, December 6th is the LAST day we will be open for 2025! If you want to purchase bottles of wine or wine themed gifts for your holiday giving (and drinking,) I will be at the store from 10:45-3PM.
