When a dishwasher drain line fails, it's more than just a kitchen mess. It can introduce contaminated Category 3 water into your home and cause extensive damage.

Our team at PuroClean of Bonita recently responded to a Lakeside home where a failed dishwasher drain line affected the kitchen. A crew led by Project Manager Daniel quickly got to work, performing a detailed assessment, containing the affected area, removing damaged materials, and using commercial drying equipment to restore safe conditions.

Throughout the project, our technicians:
• Inspected and documented all affected areas
• Established containment to help prevent cross-contamination
• Removed unsalvageable drywall, insulation, flooring, and cabinetry
• Performed detailed HEPA vacuuming and antimicrobial treatment
• Monitored and verified structural drying to IICRC standards

By the end of the drying process, the kitchen was fully prepared for reconstruction, helping the homeowner move one step closer to getting their home back to normal.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our friend and teammate, Luxon “Jean” Jean-Louis.

Jean was a hardworking, dedicated, and reliable member of our PuroClean family. Since joining us on January 15, 2024, he consistently showed up with pride in his work, a strong sense of responsibility, and a quiet commitment to doing things the right way. He was someone his teammates could depend on, and his presence made a difference on every job and with everyone he worked alongside.

Beyond his work ethic, Jean will be remembered for the respect he showed others and the positive energy he brought to our team. His contributions, character, and kindness left a lasting impression that will not be forgotten.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his wife, children, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. We stand with them in remembrance and support.
