Are you ready to start giving up the “I don’t have time” or “There isn’t enough time” record (that I suspect is the sneaky voice of our Inner-Meanie) that keeps us from experiencing the life we want. Time is a man-made convention. It doesn’t really exist. It is fluid. It contacts and expands based on how you perceive it. Don’t believe me? 20 minutes in the doctor’s waiting room or sitting in traffic can seem like forever. 20 minutes doing something you love can fly by in a second. You can create time, make time, take time, and waste time. Time can fly, run away, get away from you and run out. Time can be endless, be stopped, slip though our finger or we can take as much time as we’d like. So give up the idea that you don’t have time or that there isn’t enough time – time is created and here’s what you are going to do to experience that…
WINNERS KNOW:
Slow The Hell Down. Ever notice how there isn’t enough time to do it right the first time but always enough time to do it over? Yeah. Freaky how that works. So slow down. Be the slow-and-steady-turtle that wins the race. Be thoughtful and deliberate. It will free up TONS of time.
Say No You don’t have to do everything AND you don’t have to feel guilty about saying “No”. Exercise this muscle until “No, I’m not available” rolls off your tongue and there isn’t a twinge of guilt coming from your Inner-Meanie.
Reduce Your TV / Screen Time This is a fact: Adults watch more than 33 hours of TV per week.. The average American watches more than five hours of live television every day. Source: data from Nielsen
According to the latest Nielsen report, the average American adult over the age of 18 spends more than 11 hours per day on electronic gadgets (almost 5 of those hours coming from TV)
Reclaiming you time seems a whole lot easier now, doesn’t it?
