We are excited to welcome Alejandra Reyes Garza as a second-time coming back member of the ALBA Planning Committee. 🙌

Alejandra is a dedicated professional committed to cultural promotion, education, and the preservation of collective memory. With extensive experience in community leadership and nonprofit project management, she has made a meaningful impact across Arkansas.

She is the founder of the Hispanic Heritage Festival, where she leads initiatives that celebrate the richness of Hispanic culture and encourage active participation from local organizations and volunteers.

For 16 years, Alejandra has served as a Spanish GED instructor in the Russellville School District, demonstrating a strong commitment to education and cultural outreach. She is also the creator, producer, and host of the Memoria Colectiva podcast, focused on preserving and sharing community stories and traditions.

George is a seasoned insurance professional and community advocate with more than eight years of industry experience. As Principal Owner of HEXA Insurance, he is dedicated to simplifying risk management and helping clients make confident, informed decisions. His work is driven by two core passions: empowering small businesses and mentoring the next generation of Arkansas leaders.

Serving both Central and Northwest Arkansas, George focuses on supporting entrepreneurs by streamlining processes that help them protect and grow their ventures. He has also served as an active member of the CNL Board and continues his commitment to youth development through Club Tigres Academy.

We are honored to welcome Erika Buenrostro Figueroa back for her fourth year on the Arkansas Latino Business Awards (ALBA) Committee!

Erika is a dedicated educator with over ten years of experience in higher education and currently serves at UA Cossatot. She specializes in community engagement, organizational development, and resource management. Erika holds a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Arkansas and is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Rural and Diverse Leadership at SAU.

Marco Rodriguez resides in Springdale and has nearly nine years of experience in the food industry across Central Arkansas and Northwest Arkansas. He has worked closely with many restaurant business owners, providing guidance and consulting to support their business and operational needs. He has also been a restaurant owner for the past year.

This marks Marco’s second year on the ALBA Committee. Last year, he was honored to present the People’s Choice Award for Best Restaurant, and he looks forward to taking on an even bigger role this year in support of the Latino business and restaurant community. 👏🍽️
