Wednesday afternoon, SFD units responded to Morgan Haley Lane for a reported structure fire. Upon arrival, crews encountered heavy smoke and visible flames. Firefighters quickly worked to bring the fire under control. Fortunately, all occupants safely evacuated the home, and no injuries were reported.

HE MADE IT! El Dorado Fire Department - Arkansas Lt. Jacob Brimer has been running for over a week from the Louisiana border to Missouri - and this morning he reached his finish line. He pulled off this 380 mile challenge to raise money and awareness for Camp Sunshine Arkansas. And waiting at the border was his wife, Kaci, and their 10-month old baby.

🏃‍♂️☀️ CAMP SUNSHINE CHALLENGE ☀️🏃‍♂️

Yesterday, our crews met Lieutenant Jacob Brimer of the El Dorado Fire Department at the Springdale/Fayetteville city limit. Lieutenant Brimer is running across the great state of Arkansas to raise funds and awareness for Camp Sunshine! ☀️

Some of our members, along with our current recruit class, escorted Lieutenant Brimer through our city, where members of the Lowell Fire Department took over at the Springdale/Lowell city limit.

Every exhausting mile is for Camp Sunshine and its pediatric burn survivors. His dedication, determination, and willingness to go the extra mile reflect the very best of the fire service — serving others and making a difference beyond the job.

We’re proud to stand behind our fellow brother and support this amazing cause. Stay safe out there, and keep those miles coming! 💪🔥

Last evening, we had the privilege of celebrating a special milestone at our Fall Pinning Ceremony. This historic occasion marked the largest promotion event in our department's history.
We are incredibly proud to recognize:
• 8 Newly sworn-in Firefighters
• 5 Paramedics
• 7 Driver-Operators
• 7 Captains
• 1 Emergency Communications Center Operations Manager
• 2 Battalion Chiefs
• 2 Division Chiefs
These ceremonies are more than tradition—they're a testament to the commitment, courage, and leadership that define our department. The badges placed on each uniform represent not just rank, but the trust our community places in these men and women every day. To our newly sworn-in firefighters, welcome to the family. To our newly promoted leaders, your hard work and dedication have earned this moment. Thank you to all the families, friends, and community members who joined us to celebrate this night of honor and achievement.

Tonight, the Springdale Fire Department will host our fall pinning ceremony to proudly recognize 24 newly promoted members, as well as 8 probationary firefighters. The pinning ceremony is a tradition that recognizes the achievements of these personnel and allows their families and friends to celebrate their successes. The ceremony will be held at 6 pm at the Springdale Senior Center, 823 East Emma Ave. The main parking lot and entrance are on the southwest side of the building. Hope to see you there!
