Cash Flow
Recently Crawford Financial, LLC, added a life-skill workshop to its services. Most of us leave high school and are expected to 'make it in the world' but are not equipped with the knowledge or skill to be successful at the one thing that will help us - financial literacy. To help fill that gap, we now offer Cash Flow workshops to those who are interested in improving their basic understanding of how to manage and improve their finances. This workshop covers basic cash flow concepts and provides coaching in how to complete a financial statement. If you are serious about changing your current cash flow situation but don't know where to start, contact [email protected] for information about local workshops.

Update: Valley in Progress and Citizens of Greater Springdale are in the process of completing the paperwork to become one organization. The new name of this combined organization is Communities in Progress (CIP). CIP held its first event on November 15th, Souper Supper, to introduce ourselves. It was a great success!! We asked those who attended for feedback on what events and/or training workshops they (the communities) wanted and we received much needed responses. We are also seeking volunteers to man upcoming community events. If you are interested in what we are doing, please contact us by email or phone: [email protected] or 509-258-6949.

Our new mission statement: To provide resources for economic success and the well-being of our communities.

Recently Valley In Progress (VIP), a local nonprofit organization, and Citizens of Greater Springdale, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, have agreed to merge. These two organizations have struggled to offer needed services and activities to their communities. Their merger will benefit both communities by combining their resources and talents, creating a broader presence, and servicing a larger demographic. It is an exciting endeavor and we are excited about the services that we will be able to offer the local communities,

VIP currently supports the Valley Skills and Resource Center which offers FREE workshops focusing on English as a second language (ESL), GED preparations, computer skills, and cash management. If you are interested in these workshops, please contact us at [email protected] or (509) 258-9649. We are looking forward to meeting and serving you.
