Sometimes, a simple wish brings an entire community together.

One of our hospice patients, Inez, shared a special wish—to ride in a 1935 Chevy, the same kind of car she learned to drive when she was just 11 years old.

We put the word out, and our community did what it does best. While we didn’t find a 1935 Chevy, we found something just as special—two generous owners with a stunning 1934 Chevy and a beautifully restored 1938 Chevy, each a remarkable piece of automotive history.

The moment she saw these gorgeous vintage cars, memories from long ago came flooding back. Climbing inside and going for a ride brought smiles, stories, and a wonderful sense of nostalgia. It was a beautiful reminder that some of our most treasured memories never really leave us.

A heartfelt thank you to The Barn at the Springs for providing the perfect setting, to Stoney, Linda, and Kyle for so generously sharing their prized classic Chevys with us, and to The Revival Agency for capturing these precious moments.

And thank you to everyone who shared our request and helped spread the word. You helped turn a simple wish into an unforgettable memory we will all treasure.

UPDATE: We have found a couple of cars. Stay tuned this week for some additional updates.

COMMUNITY, WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We’re looking for a 1935 Chevy to help make a very special birthday wish come true for one of our patients.

She learned to drive in a 1935 Chevy when she was just 11 years old, and the car holds so many special memories for her. She will be celebrating her birthday on Monday, and we would love to surprise her with the chance to see and ride in one again.

Do you own one? Know someone who does? Have a connection with a local car club or collector who might be able to help?

Please reach out to us as soon as possible. Even sharing this post could help us find the right person and make a very meaningful birthday wish come true. A sample photo of the car we are looking for is below.

Thank you for helping us create meaningful memories for those we have the privilege to care for.

A stronger future for hospice care in Northwest Arkansas.

For 35 years, Circle of Life has been honored to care for patients and families throughout our community. As we continue to grow, so does our ability to serve.

With expanded resources, a growing team and an even greater reach across Northwest Arkansas, we are strengthening the care available to patients and families when they need it most.

What does that mean for our community? More resources. More support. More families served — with the same commitment to exceptional, local, nonprofit hospice care.

We are grateful for the trust Northwest Arkansas has placed in Circle of Life for more than three decades, and we look forward to serving even more families in the years ahead.

This week, we’re celebrating DME Week and the incredible team that keeps our patients comfortable and cared for every single day.

Our DME team is made up of some pretty special guys—big hearts, kind souls, and a true willingness to serve.

They are often working quietly behind the scenes, delivering beds, oxygen, wheelchairs, and other equipment our patients need—sometimes at a moment’s notice. But what they bring into a home goes far beyond equipment. They bring a friendly face, a helping hand, reassurance, and kindness during a time when those little things can mean so much.

They work hard, they care deeply, and they are always willing to do whatever it takes to make sure our patients have what they need.

This week, we’re especially grateful for our DME team and the important role they play at Circle of Life. Thank you for the heart you put into everything you do. We appreciate you!
