Din was raised in Stoughton and lived there most of his life with his parents and two siblings. Din is the Deputy Chief of the Boston Housing Authority Police Department. In this role Din oversees the day to day operations of the police and the Safety senior security division. Din is also in charge of Training, Accreditation, Public Records, Defensive Tactics & Use of Force. Din also teaches Integrating Communication, Assessment & Tactics; MILO Range 2000 simulation and Defensive Tactics & Use of Force for the Municipal Police Training Council. Din is also a member of the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council (MetroLEC) Crisis Negotiations Team. Din has a Masters Degree from Lasell University in Crisis & Emergency Management and is a member of the National Criminal Justice Honor Society, Alpha Phi Sigma.
