We supply remodeling contractors and residential home builders, specializing primarily in kitchen and bath cabinetry, exterior siding products, and new and replacement windows and doors. Mid South provides value-added Installation Services to its building and remodeling customers through select branches. The com

pany was founded in 1966 and remained family owned until 1985 when its founders sold the business to the Mid South Building Supply Employee Stock Ownership Trust. Mid South immediately became one of the first 100% employee owned, 100% bank-financed transactions to occur in the ESOP community.

Yesterday, April 16, Mid South employee owners came together to celebrate and remember our dear friend Tim Bergen, who will always hold a special place in our hearts.

In honor of Tim on his birthday, we showed up wearing his favorite things—Notre Dame football gear, Hawaiian shirts, tropical colors, and plenty of Mid South pride. It was a meaningful way to celebrate his life, his legacy, and the joy he brought to everyone around him.

Tim, you are deeply missed and forever remembered. 💙💛🌺

Paint the Town Ruby Red — 40 Years as an ESOP!

We recently gathered to celebrate a major milestone for Mid South Building Supply Inc — 40 years of employee ownership! Established in 1985, this year’s annual ownership celebration and dinner was one to remember.

Decked out in shades of ruby red, our employee-owners enjoyed casino games, great food, and plenty of time on the dance floor as we honored four decades of shared success, commitment, and ownership pride.

Here’s to the past 40 years as an ESOP — and many more ahead! 🎉♦️
