Chris & I are happy to announce that Advance Welding is a recipient (1 of 13 in MA) of a capital equipment grant from Massachusetts Manufacturing Accelerate Program (MMAP). The announcment was made official this morning & we were joined by our sponsor, Rick Sullivan from the Economic Development Council of Western Massachusetts, Christine Nolan, Director of MA Center for Advanced Manufacturing and MA Economic Development Secretary Kennealy.

Advance Welding is happy to announce that we have been awarded a Workforce Training Fund grant. Many thanks to the state of Massachusetts for helping us train our employees. *This project is funded by a Workforce Training Fund grant from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development. The grant program is administered by Commonwealth Corporation.

Boston, MA — The Baker-Polito administration announced today that more than $8 million will be awarded in Workforce Training Fund Program grants to train 4,319 employees from 99 Massachusetts employers. These grants are expected to result in the creation of 944 additional jobs by 2023.
