Quick, easy and tasty supper tonight. Steve grilled chicken tenders and put a teriyaki glaze on them that I made late last week. That, grilled zucchini and yellow squash and a microwaved potato made a quick and easy supper tonight.

Hi gang! Please excuse my absence. I’ve been away for a few days. My husband had a mild stroke last week and I’m battling cancer, waiting impatiently for my surgery to happen. Life’s stuff happens but we muddle through it and eventually win the battle.

Onward to better days!

I’m glad that I don’t have a coffee pot. After spending 3 nights in the hospital watching over my husband after his stroke, I can only imagine what a smart Alec coffee pot would be telling me!

By the way, we were blessed. There are some minor deficits ( mostly speech) but today I got to bring him home. Life goes on with a little speed bump here and there, but he’s here to hug on.

Welcome to Sweetie’s on Aisle “L” at Relics Antique Mall in Springfield, MO. We have the absolute best Amish made fudge in so many different flavors. We carry chocolate, chocolate walnut, vanilla, vanilla walnut, peanut butter, peanut butter and chocolate, lemon cheesecake, pumpkin cheesecake, penuche, divinity, sugar free vanilla and chocolate fudge just to name a few flavors. We also have licorice, gummy bears, Cracker Jacks, Amish made toffee, double chocolate dipped malted milk balls, and English taffy.

We brought in a line of fabulous syrups too. There are blueberry, strawberry, peach and maple flavors. The blueberry goes fast so don’t delay.

If you like to make your own sweets, we carry a line of Anne Clark cookie cutters to choose from.

I have handmade decorative kitchen towels and bowl cozies to choose from.

We encourage you to bring your children and sleepy husband to our tiny candy store. I guarantee that they’ll perk right back up after trying our creamy fudge and other treats.

Come see us at this AMAZING event. It’s fun filled for the entire family. We’ll be in spot 345 just down the fence line from the band gazebo. We’ll have 100% soy candles and wax melts. Our candles are highly scented and burn clean. We always do an in-show special with our candles. You have to stop by to see, smell and take your treasures home. Lots of fall and winter scents available!

We have hand crafted signs, car diffusers and the cutest hand sewn cozies and kitchen towels as well. Our scarecrow leaners are new this year and are adorable!

Needing to restore your furniture? Scratches happen. Erase them with our amazing Howard’s Restore-a-Finish. Our Stainless Steel cleaner is amazing for appliances and sinks. I make candles and use this cleaner to clean the outside of the large wax melter. If it cleans off wax, imagine what it can do for your appliances! Lastly, Clean-a-Finish is perfect for getting grime off just about anything! I even use it to spray on the knees of my husband’s dirty jeans. It actually works better than commercial laundry stain sprays.
