Welcome to Gottrich Counseling and Consulting Services, PC.
We are in the cold of winter. Many people have SAD - Seasonal Affective Disorder. Due to the lack of sun, people who have this can experience mood changes such as sadness and lack of energy. This is not the same as Depression. Depression is a condition in which one is sad most days, experiencing lack of concentration, difficulty with sleep, gaining or losing weight, lack of pleasure in the activities you used to enjoy, suicidal thoughts, and poor appetite. If you experience any of these symptoms, call us at 217-726-9882. We take Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Healthlink, United Healthcare, and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. I also take AmericanHealth, and some disablity insurance (on a case by case basis).
