I pray for comfort and peace for the family of Corporal Daniels. If you ever get to the point where you feel like there is no hope, please reach out to someone.

When Corporal Gary Daniels graduated from the Missouri State Highway Patrol Law Enforcement Academy in 2015, he had established the first bond in a trooper’s career: He would forever be a member of the 101st Recruit Class. Decades later, troopers can name everyone in their recruit class. Recruits make it through the rigorous six-month bootcamp-style academy because they learn they are part of a team. A team in which they can rely on one another when their lives are on the line. Over the next decade, Gary established other immutable bonds within the Patrol – first in Troop C; then Troop A, where he could be closer to his family in Kansas; then part of the Patrol’s recruiting division; and, most recently, at the Patrol’s academy, where he could help shape the careers of young recruits.
Each current Patrol member and the larger Patrol family ache over the tragic loss of Corporal Gary Daniels. Missouri Department of Public Safety Director Mark James, a member of Patrol’s 48th Recruit Class, said, “Our troopers are hurting because Gary Daniels was a valued member of the Patrol family with a stellar career. He recruited and encouraged young men and women that they could succeed in our organization and, then in the academy, he helped shape the future of the Patrol. The Patrol and the entire DPS family mourn this terrible loss. Our thoughts are with Gary’s family and all who loved him.”
We will remember Gary Daniels for his selfless service to the public and for upholding the values of the Missouri State Highway Patrol. He will forever be part of the Patrol team.

Visit a local business for your skin care needs. She has more scents than you can imagine. Schedule a birthday party or just a social event with friends. If you want to purchase premixed scents, she has those as well.

Sharing for another small business in the area.

During recovery from my spinal surgeries, I needed something creative to focus on. What started as experimenting with fragrance and ingredients at home has slowly turned into something really fun.
Lately I’ve been making custom body products for clients who requested specific scents, and I’ve loved being able to create something just for them.

Everything is made by me with simple ingredients you can actually pronounce, skin-loving oils, and fragrances inspired by some of our favorite scents.

Recently created:

🌟 A tropical caramel pistachio body butter inspired by a very famous Brazilian cream
Brazilian Glow Cream (bum bum)

🌟A bold masculine body butter inspired by a luxury cologne favorite
Creed Glow (masculine) (Adventus)

🌟A soft floral perfume-style body butter
Graceful Glow (dupe of Sweet Grace)

🌟 Pre shave/beard oil made from rich oils that are incredibly beneficial for skin
Blue Reserve (dupe of Bleu de Chanel)

🌟Room and linen spray

🌟Car diffusers

🌟Candles

The body butter leaves your skin moisture sized and smelling amazing. I have tried a variety of formulas and this is by far my favorite!

🌟 A “better-for-you” laundry powder scented with a warm, clean fragrance everyone loves. Two different client requests
Self Absorbed (narcissist) and Graceful Glow (dupe of Sweet Grace). The fragrance lasts so long and leaves your clothes smelling amazing. Can be made in powder or liquid form.

This whole fragrance experiment started while I was healing… and somehow it has turned into an obsession with creating beautiful scents and products from scratch.

I don't want to get sued so I have changed the fragrance names.

More coming soon under Ember + Ash. 🔥

I will admit I am awful about before and after photos. I need to start building my portfolio 🥴. I just get so involved in what I am doing and my relationships with my clients.

Funny story I absolutely hated body waxing while I was in school. Especially eyebrows. I avoided waxing eyebrows every chance I could.

That has changed 100%. Give me all the waxing!

I love a good crisp clean eyebrow.

The before is in the comments 🤯

This is the after of the wax and a facial 🌟

I plan to make this my last post about the tragedy that happened in Christian/Stone counties yesterday. To my LEO friends and acquaintances, both active and retired. In the coming weeks you will hear a lot of opinions about what happened. Your circle of family and friends will be generally very supportive with words of support and outrage. Unfortunately, you will hear and read some things that will bring you to anger or outright rage. Things like, “They knew what they signed up for when they took the job.” “They are no more special than anyone else who died.” Or whatever nonsensical and outright stupid comment some moron decides to post.
This is just my opinion, but it helps me refrain from participating in useless arguments. It also gives me peace during times like these. Sheep dogs do not waste time worrying about the opinions of sheep. Sheep are harmless, not peaceful. A peaceful man or woman is capable of violence but chooses peace if it is possible. A harmless person is not capable of violence. So, they have nothing to control. They are just weak. The sheep who are critical or dismissive of tragedies like this are jealous of and fear you. They are jealous because they know they do not have the backbone to do what you do or did. They fear you, because they know you can do harm, if you choose. There is a meme that goes around the internet that says, “Everyone wants to be a lion until it is time to do lion stuff.” The sheep can never be a lion. They know it but don’t want to admit it. It haunts and frustrates them.
To wrap it up, continue being a sheep dog, no matter what the sheep might say. Be strong and remember what you are. It can sometimes feel like a heavy burden. Honor the fallen. Remember the families. We are all we have. Be prepared for the worst and pity the sheep. They will never be truly free. For they live in fear.
