This is the kind of full-circle Founder story we LOVE to celebrate.
Congratulations to Actuator alum Soumya Roy, food scientist and Founder of UpLevel Foods, whose Ketchup 2 Health is hitting the shelves at the Springfield Food Co-op beginning Monday!
Soumya came to BRIC from the Boston area with a vision for building his business from Springfield - exactly the kind of story that gets us excited about the future of entrepreneurship in rural Vermont. Helping innovative Founders turn ideas into real products, grow their businesses, and see communities like Springfield as places where they can build something meaningful? That's the dream. 💜
Ketchup 2 Health is UpLevel Foods' nutrient-enriched, plant-based take on a familiar favorite, made with ingredients including organic tomato puree, Medjool dates, acerola cherry, beet juice, lycopene, broccoli extract, red bell pepper and more.
We're also delighted to see this local launch happening at the Springfield Food Co-op, a longtime community institution whose commitment to supporting local farmers and vendors, nourishing its community, and strengthening the local economy makes this a beautiful partnership.
Soumya shared his Ketchup 2 Health at this week's North Star Health fair - and beginning Monday, you can look for it in the supplemental refrigerated section at the Springfield Food Co-op!
