CCDW—Jake Cocanougher A Springfield, KY resident who grew up watching his Dad, Tony Cocanougher, give CCDW classes, and now a Kentucky CCDW Instructor myself.

I have been a CCDW instructor for over 4 years, I do private classes (one on one) and I do classes at the New Haven Bargain Depot. I have worked with people who are holding a gun for their first time up to some of our brave men and women in the military. I try to make each class enjoyable, by KY state law we the class must be at least 6 hours long, but no more than 8 hours, so you have to make it

interesting. I do classes in our own home or I can come to yours, and do groups as small as one person. I grew up handling guns, and take the utmost safety precautions. As of right now I am mainly doing classes on the weekends due to my work schedule.

Just a reminder our benefit class is happening this Sunday, September 9th, in Springfield at the Fire Station. We’d made a previous post about returned mail from our P.O. box and thought we’d gotten it straightened out, luckily a neighbor brought her letter by and showed that it was returned to her. If you’ve tried to sign up for the class and had your letter returned we apologize, please either comment or private message us and we can arrange to pick up your payment for your spot.
