Our goal for the last three years has been to create a team of successful leaders that were profitable. We knew by helping others, we could then achieve our goals and dreams. People sometimes give in to FEAR. FEAR is only FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL. For us, staying plugged into the Success Club and our upline made all the difference. We’ve counseled and sought advice from our mentors, our upline. We had a goal and a vision and weren’t going to be stopped. If we felt like we were getting off track, we knew where to go for help. When we looked at Team National about 12 years ago, we looked nothing like we do today. Ronnie was very active in his 18 year real-estate broker/agent business, and I, in my 15 years as a travel consultant. Our daughter, Molly, was working and going to school, and our other daughter, Jennifer, was a nurse. One thing we were always looking for was savings and we found that with Team National. What we didn’t know, was that we would find our fortune with Team National. We not only found our fortune, but an unbelievable group of people that would change our lives. When Dennis and Debbie Martin started teaching us the system we took that to heart. We discovered we could build this business in small increments of time–5 and 10 minutes at a time, all day, every day, around our jobs and our lives. We put together a 5-year plan to set us up for that fortune. We have never done anything but the baseball system. We promote a minimum of 3 power plays a week to our teammates. We run an on-going promotion called the Louisville Slugger, that has produced many Platinums on our Team. We always promote the tools and the Success Club in our business. We are total products of the system. We have been on the product program since we joined. One thing we leaourstory2rned early in Team National was Teamwork. We are blessed with an incredible group of people that have helped us and stood with us all the way. One of those couples that has been our mentors are Jess and Paula Gibson. We have learned many things from them; one of those is the practice of mentoring. We use that as we help people get started and it makes all the difference. A key ingredient in achieving success is balance. You must have your priorities in the right order, God, Family, Business, and Recreation. Counseling is how you keep in balance. Because of our focus on our goal, and with the counsel and help of our upline partners and our team, our dreams are coming true. We made a decision that the Soaring with the Eagle Award was our goal for 2010. Many people got discouraged in 2010 because of the economy. We made that our reason, not our excuse. We gave up some things and put our focus on the prize. YES, but we knew it wasn’t forever. When we received word from our wonderful leaders Angela and Phil Chrysler, we both were speechless and in tears. The feeling was unbelievable. Our weekend in Florida with all the great leaders of this company was something we will never forget. We wish this great honor on all our leaders. The messages and words of congratulations have overwhelmed us. We are so very humbled by this honor. As we look back at our life, we see two farm kids from Iowa who did not finish college, but knew from day one that they wanted a life that would make a difference. We see many peaks and valleys, rough times and great times, celebrations and sorrows, but because of this wonderful business we have realized many dreams. One of the greatest things Team National has done for us, is given us a vehicle to use to help others change their lives. We found Team National to be an exciting, and fulfilling business that has enabled us to help others as well as ourselves.
