Central Illinois Security had the opportunity to deliver donuts to the Springfield Police Department and Springfield Fire Department as a small token of our appreciation for everything they do for our community.

When one of our customers experiences an alarm, our Central Station team is there to respond and dispatch the appropriate emergency services. From that moment on, our local police officers and firefighters help provide the protection, safety, and peace of mind our customers depend on.

We are incredibly grateful for the professionalism, dedication, and commitment these men and women demonstrate every day.

Getting to Know Andrew Myers
Inventory Specialist | Just Over 2 Years with CIS

Andrew helps keep CIS running smoothly by managing inventory operations and coordinating service and installation billing to support technicians and keep projects on track.

One of his favorite parts of the job is knowing his work makes a difference behind the scenes. He is especially proud of the teamwork at CIS and how everyone steps up to keep jobs moving and customers supported.

Andrew is proud to work at CIS because the team always steps up when needed. From dispatch to technicians to sales, everyone works together to keep jobs on schedule and done right.

One thing Andrew wishes customers understood is how much preparation happens before a technician ever arrives on-site. From tracking materials and verifying parts to coordinating accurate billing, there is a lot happening behind the scenes to help every service call and installation run smoothly.

Outside of work, he enjoys staying active, following sports, and working on technology-related projects.

⚠️ Weather Alert from Central Illinois Security ⚠️

With the projected storms moving through our area, we anticipate several customers may experience power outages that could impact their alarm systems.

Our Central Station team will be actively monitoring signals and contacting customers when power outages are received. Due to the expected high volume of activity and incoming signals, response and call times may be slightly longer than normal.

Getting to know Sara Landers Linn, an Account Executive at Central Illinois Security.

Sara helps clients protect their homes and businesses by designing and implementing security and fire protection solutions.

One of her favorite parts of the job is the face-to-face interaction she gets to have with clients. Building those relationships and helping people feel protected is a big part of what makes her work so meaningful.

A moment that made Sara especially proud to work at CIS was helping an elderly client feel safe and secure after the loss of a spouse. It meant a great deal to Sara knowing the client felt protected and at ease, and that her family did too.

She also wishes more customers understood how the central station operates and the important role it plays behind the scenes in keeping them safe.

Outside of work, Sara is passionate about keeping business local and supporting her community.
