I received an impromptu referral from my longtime friend and one of my favorite old-school Detroit hip-hop artists, Awesome Dre.

His close friends were out of town in Ohio and needed someone dependable to handle an occupancy check on their property in Flint, Michigan.

Today, on behalf of L&L Distribution, our CEO Duane L. Grigsby Jr LandLdistribution Duane Grigsby took a little time away from work to give a quick shout-out to DPSCD’s Summer on the Block and the FACE Department for the work they’re doing to connect students, parents, and families with valuable resources. 🏫🙌🏾

While working throughout Districts 1, 4, and 5, I told friends, families, and people I met about the events and encouraged them to come out and participate.

As a District 4 volunteer and DPSCD volunteer, I’ve had the opportunity to support events inside and outside of the schools. It’s always an honor to give back and help spread the word about opportunities available to Detroit families.
