Throughout the month of June in honor of Juneteenth, Kingdom Woman Finishing School (KWFS) and community professionals, artists and creatives within the Springfield and
neighboring communities will host traditional African events, workshops, classes & performances representing different regions of African Diaspora in honor of Juneteenth: Central,
East, West, South African, African American and Caribbean.
This year will feature Haitian Carribean Chakacha dance classes, Togo West African cooking classes, classes on various African countries history (Haitian Independence, African royal
families), presentation on inventors and innovators within the African Diaspora, Juneteenth generational wealth bootcamps and more!
