Barnes & Noble baristas and booksellers at the chain’s South Burlington, Vermont, location took a page out of other workers' books and voted to join Local 1459!

Increased wages and benefits are top priorities for the approximately 25 bookstore workers, along with strong safety language and fair treatment.

Contract negotiations are currently underway, and workers are eager to ratify a contract that gives them hope for their future and the future of the industry they love.
