Hello all,

Shore Fellowship Church in Egg Harbor Township needs help for tomorrow. They will be filling 500 bags of non perishable food items to give to displaced residents of the area.

They obtained the product through purchases and donations from our store. They are giving out peanut butter, cereal, bread, etc.

They need volunteers to fill the bags and hand them out. It sounds like they are expecting a large turn-out. They are requesting any help that your associates can give from 10am to 4pm. (it is ok if they can only do a portion of that time)

Please send your volunteers with shoprite shirts. We want to show that we are there as a team.

Please email back to Judy/Cathy and me the name of any person that want to help.

Thank you,

Harry

Good Morning,

Yesterday, we had four associates from English Creek #601 at the Community Food Bank. That organization has been a vital link for providing aid and relief to the shore towns.

Also yesterday, a group of employees from Absecon and a Coca-Cola associate went to the aid of a department manager from #633. His home was on the bay in Tuckerton and had been condemned on Monday. They completed the heartbreaking task of emptying his home of his furniture and his memories.

Today we will have at least eight volunteers at the Food Bank from 1-4 PM. Also, we have a team of four or five colleagues helping at the Shore Fellowship Church in Egg Harbor Township.....this church has also been instrumental in providing relief to the area.

A truly heartwarming aspect of this aid is that many times the ones providing the aid do not even know the people that are receiving the help. They are volunteering their time, talents, and resources to provide relief wherever they can.

It is great to see that people get ready for helping each other in difficult and tough times.

Thank You to all!!

Good Morning,
Today we have four associates from English Creek volunteering in the Community Food Bank in Egg Harbor Township. We also have six associates from various stores helping an associate from Absecon. His house was condemned yesterday.

We have a few needs for tomorrow.

We need as many people as possible for the following:

Community Food Bank (Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township) from 1-4 PM....Their phone number is 383-8843

We have also received a request for aid from Shore Fellowship Church in Egg Harbor Township. (They have done a remarkable amount of work for the storm recovery). Their phone number is 412-1814. They need help from 1-8pm. Whatever portion of those hours an associate can volunteer would be great!

We would like to spread the resources between these two locations tomorrow. (There is a noreaster coming tomorrow and we are going to stay off the barrier islands).

Please email Judy/Cathy and Harry the names and times that associates can help!!! Please be sure to send them with ShopRite shirts to wear. We want to show that we are there as a group to help.

The amount of employees that have expressed an interest in helping is inspiring....thank you to all!!!

Please get back to me as soon as you can.

Thanks,

Harry Baumgartner
