We're excited to host Joshua Sattely of My Nonprofit Attorney for a conversation about fiscal sponsorships.

June 1st, 11am est, on zoom.

This is a hot topic right now as nonprofits change and shift amid funding changes and resource constraints. Is fiscal sponsorship right for your mission? Is your nonprofit considering becoming a fiscal sponsor? Come listen to the combined thoughts of a Nonprofit Attorney and CPA as we help navigate a roundtable for nonprofit organizations.

Doing what makes you sail...

Creating an accounting firm was a complete accident. In 2019, I was presenting at a lot of board meetings and at conferences. How did it all happen? One board member would approach me after a meeting and say they are on the board of another nonprofit and they felt like they needed help and were drowning.

Hence the name Lifeboat. Do you need a raft? A boat? Or a whole cruise ship?

I started in 2019 thinking it would just be a temp thing while I recovered from Corporate burnout. It's now 2025 and have never run out of work. In fact, I need a bigger crew and boat. A year ago we had over 100 orgs on our wait list for help. Do you love nonprofits? Do accruals and functional expense classifications excite you? Do you want to do something that helps orgs around the globe make the world a better place? Flexible hours, bad nautical themed puns, really cool missions. No work day is ever the same.

If you'd like to come aboard, let's chat!
