(Marine Corps Water Survival School), SATCOMs certified, Heavy Machine Gun Operator Instructor, Enhanced Marksmanship Combat Instructor, and a Primary Marksmanship Instructor. After the Marines, Tyler ventured into the private sector in providing Executive Protection for a high profile judge, Fortune 100 CEO and family, and celebrity details. Tyler believed his calling was elsewhere and decided to provide security for schools. In 2001, Tyler’s high school and community became a victim of a school shooting where 13 were wounded and 2 more succumbed to their injuries. He feels and believes he can make a difference in preventing such an event from taking place in local schools around the Dallas-Fort Worth Area. Tyler holds certifications from American Crime Prevention Institute in school safety, security and design, Active Shooter certifications from Infragard and ASIS, C.R.A.S.E. Instructor, NRA Pistol Instructor, Texas DPS PSB fi****ms and classroom instructor, and TX LTC Instructor. Here at Brooks Security Group we are licensed through Texas DPS PSB (license # B22972801) and we specialize in creating a security plan specifically for our clients by performing risk assessments and designing a plan based off those results. We hold our agents to a high standard of professionalism no matter the detail. BSG is also a Texas DPS certified PSB Level 3/4 Training School (license # F26242701). We do all our training in house at our own training facility with DPS PSB licensed instructors.
