Join us in celebrating the Town of Annetta’s rainwater harvesting system on September 29th @ 11AM in Annetta! 🌧️

Stop by for conservation giveaways, grant information, building your own rainwater harvesting system, and the Parker County Master Gardeners! 🌱

We are excited that the Upper Trinity Groundwater Conservation District has installed an educational sign highlighting the Town’s rainwater harvesting system! This system was made possible through a grant awarded to the Town and captures rainwater for beneficial reuse.

Collected rainwater is used to irrigate trees on Town property and for cleaning at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, helping conserve our valuable groundwater resources.

We had a great time with our 2026 summer team! 👷

They assisted with database management, measuring Trinity water levels, deploying geophysical equipment, and visiting water sites all over North Texas. 💧

Attendees received native plant seeds, shower timers, and valuable resources on water levels and the Trinity Aquifer. 🌱
