It is nice to see some ash tree saplings popping back up in the area!

In the first photo the saplings are around 7-10 years old, and in the second photo they're closer to 15.

This means at least 2 rounds of seedings took place before the mature trees were fully killed off by emerald bark beetle, offering much hope to NE PA for these trees to spring back from the edge of extinction!
