Yesterday was my first official “No client - Admin Day”
in my head, it was a day to catch up on the personal to-dos I’ve been putting off, squeeze in appointments for myself and my family, and finally get ahead of a few back end things.

Instead it turned into a 15 hour work day.

Making and scheduling social media content, consultation visits, scheduling consultation calls, sending contracts, phone meetings, navigating business decisions, handling unexpected changes, and rearranging the October schedule… yet again.

The reality is that no two days look the same when you’re running your own business. Even the days that you set aside to catch up don’t always go as planned. Some days are exciting. Some are exhausting. Some require tough decisions, flexibility, and a whole lot of figuring things out as you go.

I don’t have it all figured out all the time, and I’m not going to pretend I do. But I do know that I’m showing up, making the business best decisions I can, learning, and continuing to work towards the best possible outcome for my clients and my team.

And a little reminder that behind every small business is a real person doing their best, learning as they go, and trying to make it all work. 🫶🏽
