Do the laundry. Make the bed. Open the windows.

Because most of the time, the weight isn’t in doing them—it’s in thinking about having to do them.

And when you finally do, you realize it wasn’t that difficult, it wasn’t that heavy, it wasn’t such a big deal.

It was just a task taking up space in your mind.

Do it early. Give yourself that sense of lightness.
