Problem: A lumber company needed to load full bundles of wood — some up to 45 feet long — onto flatbed trailers, then drape and secure a tarp over the load. A standard crane hook wasn't going to cut it for a load that long and that awkward.

Solution: Our fabrication team engineered a Custom 4-Point Dual Lifting Beam Assembly — 23-ton capacity, running 50 feet in length, turning a single crane hook into a multi-point lifting tool built specifically for this job.

Another one out the door — and this one's built to live outside!

This 7.5-ton top running, dual motor single girder bridge crane ships with a full weather package for year-round outdoor operation, standing up to sun, rain, and everything the seasons bring. With a 62-foot span and dual Detroit 3.75-ton wire rope hoists, it covers a wide outdoor footprint with room to spare.

Magnetek Flex EX radio controls, LiDAR anti-collision, and a horn warning device keep operators safe, while stainless steel festoon track, IP54 motors, an enclosure heater, and a wind speed device keep it running through every season.

Sometimes the floor tells you what you can't do — so our engineers figure out what you can.

This 5-ton top running single girder bridge crane needed to go over a plastic injection molding machine, but the floor space around the machine had strict layout constraints that ruled out a standard column footing install. Our in-house engineers designed a custom oversized column and base plate solution that let us mount all four runway columns directly to the floor — no footings required.

The result: full crane coverage over the mold machine, clean floor access maintained, and nothing compromised.

A customer called when they heard squealing and whining coming from their hoist. Our service team opened up the gearbox and found the source: a broken load brake, most likely the result of a shock load.

Problem: A failed Detroit Hoist load brake had the 25-ton unit out of service.

Solution: We sourced a replacement load brake directly from Detroit Hoist, had it express-shipped in, and installed it right there in the field. Our tech didn't stop at the repair — he cleaned the gearbox and inspected the rest of the unit before the job was done.

Result: The customer was back up and running fast, with a hoist that had been checked end-to-end.

Completing the week with this complete system. This 10-ton double girder bridge crane ships alongside a 120-foot freestanding runway — crane and runway fabricated in-house.

The crane has a 60-foot span and offers 15 feet of hook height with an R&M Materials Handling, Inc. SX50 low headroom electric wire rope hoist and Magnetek Flex EX radio controls.
