We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us for the Emerson Leadership Institute Leadership Speaker Series featuring James Rhee. This was one of the largest events we have ever hosted, and we cannot thank our community enough for showing up and making it such a meaningful success.

James delivered a powerful and unforgettable experience, blending musical performance with insights from his book Red Helicopter and decades of business leadership. His reflections on leading change with kindness resonated deeply with our audience. The conversation was further enriched by Ruth Kim and Yvonne Park, whose thoughtful dialogue helped explore what compassionate leadership looks like in action.

We are especially thankful for our generous sponsors and community partners who made this event possible. Your support continues to elevate leadership conversations at Saint Louis University and beyond.

Thank you again to everyone who attended. We look forward to welcoming you to the next Emerson Leadership Institute event!

We were honored to welcome Saint Louis University President Edward Feser to yesterday’s Emerson Leadership Institute and Edward Jones Dean’s Leadership Speaker Series. The strong turnout reflected the importance of the conversation and the shared commitment to the future of our region.

President Feser offered thoughtful insight on development in St. Louis and the role Saint Louis University can play in leading boldly, collaborating meaningfully, and serving as an anchor institution for our community. The fireside chat, led by Jackson Nickerson and featuring Tina Garrison, Jason Q. Purnell, and Mark Munsell, provided valuable perspective on how leaders across industries are working to strengthen St. Louis and shape a more connected future.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this engaging morning of leadership and dialogue. We look forward to welcoming you to the next leadership event presented by the Emerson Leadership Institute at the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business.

It was a celebration of our wonderful Asian-American community here in St. Louis and a testament to the power of unity in pursuing change.
