This year has already been a bit villainous, but we will parry and thrust our sword into into the heart of difficulties like Inigo Montoya (similes over). Last year was insane. This year is too. Insanity is the normal. Thanks once again to all of our incredible clients and friends for letting us make weird s**t. Still no website 😅

2 years ago we were approached with what seemed like an impossible idea: could we take actual grass from a soccer field/pitch and preserve it in a custom embossed plaque? We of course said ‘yes’ despite having no clue as to how to actually make it, yet we saw the huge potential behind the business idea if we could figure it out.

Looking at the concept from first principles, we began experimenting and testing methods. We worked closely with the client to get a proof of concept by sourcing necessary equipment, testing proposed methods and refining the approach to create a lifelong piece of sports memorabilia.

Once we started getting pretty close to what was needed, Andrew took over the brutal process of A/B testing for months in order to lock in the secret recipe while handling production and QC himself.

Fast forward to today and Bladez US & UK has brought their first project to market with none other than St. Louis CITY SC. Bladez used grass from the historic 2023 inaugural season pitch to create a truly one-of-a-kind piece of sports memorabilia.

Introducing the Rivian Forever Ottoman.

We are super proud to share our recent collaboration with Rivian in which we transformed waste materials from their production line into functional, well designed furniture.

These custom ottomans were built by reclaiming fiberglass headliners sourced directly from Rivian’s production waste stream as well as utilizing damaged and fallen cherry trees from St. Louis city. Each piece reflects a shared commitment to thoughtful design, circular manufacturing and extending the life of high-quality materials that would otherwise end up in a landfill.

Big thanks to the Rivian team for trusting us to bring this design & vision to life. This was our first project in an ongoing collaboration with Everywhere that allowed us to tap into a deep knowledge base regarding recyclable materials and circularity.

Also, this would not have been possible without the entire team at Well Made who help make impossible ideas a reality on a daily basis.

We honestly think no other group of people on the planet could have made these happen.

CUSTOM LED SIGNAGE - Our friends Tschüss had a couple of ideas for recreating the Berlin club scene with red saturated signage. We leaned into the sexy red vibes and created two light boxes from scratch. The KLUB sign was a unique double-layered acrylic box that let the interior white acrylic pop thru the vibrant red.

The main sign utilized a double-sided led layout to let light diffuse from the back thru red acrylic and bathe the entire first floor in red light. Tschüss had the right ideas for what they wanted and together, we helped them build the atmosphere thru innovative signage. 🚨🚨🚨

Reality > Refined Idea > Initial Sketch

Our client initially came to us with a 2D sketch which we helped further visualize by creating a 3D turntable rendering. We then used this as a baseline for the physical award. While there were multiple construction challenges on this design, we think the object and rendering are pretty close in ex*****on.

Second year running for the Imo's Pizza booth at The NGA Show. Sometimes a booth design comes together successfully and becomes a familiar fixture & reference point for a brand year after year. The custom fabrication, layout and logistics we worked on with Clockwork Productions was a hit once again for the beloved local pizza chain as they expand their offerings beyond St. Louis.

In the spirit of love & Valentines Day, here’s a 16’ inflatable heart we were commissioned to design & produce for The Grove STL Pride Night last June. Thanks to Clockwork Productions for always bringing the fun & creative projects our way. 🌈 💜

28’ MODULAR BAR SYSTEM
We worked with the team at Marinelle & Kate + Company, LLC once again to design and fabricate a modular bar for their luxury weddings. This bar consists of 12 separate bars that can be used together as a massive oval or independently. This bar system had to be sturdy yet light enough to move from location to location. We incorporated a series of reinforcements and bracketing that would not interfere with the bartenders or be visible from behind the bar.

10’ VINTAGE LAMPSHADE FIXTURE
This project was one of the most creative and capability testing designs we’ve worked on yet. Marinelle and Kate & Company asked us to create a mix between a vintage lampshade and a billiards lighting fixture. The inspiration for the design was a Priscilla Presley Graceland wedding. And like all creative event ideas, we only had two weeks to design, pattern and fabricate to finish it in time for the event. *Also* it had to be able to be disassembled and work with future lampshade designs.

- Mixed material frame including aluminum extrusion, flat steel bar, aluminum rod and quick connects.
- Double sided lampshade; Sky Blue crepe back satin exterior, Blue Rose Jacquard Satin interior
- 6” Olive Chainette Fringe
- Magnetic LED lighting fixtures

Our talented team leads Vera & Ben, came together and crafted a beautiful and truly original centerpiece, with a few hours to spare before pickup.

St. Louis CITY SC reached out to us towards the end of this summer with a concept for their upcoming match against their in-state rivals Sporting KC. The idea was to create Sauce CITY, a celebration of all things St. Louis Style — with a focus on BBQ specifically.

The super-talented creative team over there asked us to develop a custom apron and t-shirt combo, all Made in St. Louis. We worked collaboratively on the Apron design to make sure it was not your run-of-the mill flimsy smock. We ended up with this limited-edition beast of an apron, completely custom in every sense of the word.

They sold out of every apron & tee-shirt on gameday.
