Happy Labor Day, St. Louis! 🛠️
Today is for the people who do the hard work. The ones in crawlspaces, on ladders, under sinks, in sweltering attics in August, and on freezing roofs in January. The tradespeople who keep this city running rarely get the spotlight, but today is for you.

We are proud to be a locally owned company right here on Gravois Road. Our crew carries 35+ years of hands-on applicator experience—and most of that knowledge was earned sweating in South County basements and attics, not sitting in a classroom.

Did you know the time of day you hear noises in your ceiling tells us exactly what’s living up there? 🏡🐾
When someone calls about a mystery noise in the attic, our first question is always: When do you hear it?

Here is our cheat sheet:
🌅 Sunrise & Dusk: Active, busy sounds like something is rolling or dragging. Usually squirrels. They keep daylight hours, just like us!
🌙 Just After Dark: Quieter sounds, like a light scurry or scratching inside a wall. Usually mice.
🕰️ Middle of the Night: Heavy, slow, and loud enough to wake you up. Usually raccoons.

It’s not a perfect rule, but it is accurate enough that it changes how we show up and what equipment we bring to your house.

If it's squirrels, it's not just a noise problem. They chew wires, nest in your insulation, and will come right back to the same hole year after year.
Getting them out is only half the job. Professionally sealing the entry point is the other half.

Most homeowners don't notice the problem in September. They notice it in November when something is scratching above the ceiling at 2 AM.

Catch it early! Here are the early signs of a rodent problem you should look for right now:
🐁 Small droppings under the kitchen sink or along baseboards
👂 Faint scratching inside the walls after dark
📦 Shredded paper, insulation, or fabric tucked in garage corners
🐶 Your dog or cat suddenly obsessing over one specific spot on the floor

🐍 Finding a snake in your house is a fast way to get your heart racing. While it is a terrifying surprise, snakes usually don't want to be inside your home any more than you want them there. They typically wander in for one of two reasons: seeking shelter from extreme weather, or hunting for food (like a hidden mouse problem).

If you find them indoors, remember these 3 rules:
📍 Keep your distance and do not try to handle or kill it.
📍 Keep children and pets out of the room.
📍 Keep an eye on its location from a safe distance while you call a professional.
