A day on the course for a great cause! ⛳

Counsilman-Hunsaker was proud to be a hole sponsor and participate in last Friday’s Contegra Cares Golf Tournament at Spencer T. Olin Community Golf Course in Alton, IL, and our team took home the B flight win! We’re keeping the giving going by donating our prize money to an aquatic-related charity.

This year’s tournament proceeds benefit the Disabled Athlete Sports Association (DASA), whose adaptive training and sports programs empower athletes to build strength, confidence, and enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle.

CH is proud of its longstanding relationship with Contegra’s in-house aquatics division, Capri Pools, partnering currently on two design-build projects, with another project having been completed this summer in the St. Louis area. We were glad to connect on the course and support Contegra Cares’ mission to build stronger communities.

The WWA Annual Symposium & Trade Show is the world waterpark industry's premier gathering, bringing together operators, suppliers, and professionals for education sessions and networking. The 46th edition runs October 6–9, 2026 at The Paris Hotel & Resort in Las Vegas, with the trade show floor open October 7–8. It also features hundreds of hours of educational programming aimed at improving operational safety, guest service, and business growth for water leisure professionals. Counsilman-Hunsaker CEO Kevin Post and Feasibility Studies Director George Deines will be on hand to talk all things aquatic design & engineering. Come by booth number 401 to say hello! George will also be co-leading a WWA University session titled "Ready, Set, Go! A Guide to Getting Started Workshop". on October 6th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Counsilman-Hunsaker provided aquatic design and engineering services for the Baltimore Ravens' Under Armour Performance Center. "The Castle" is the team's headquarters and elite training complex. The project delivered a new hydrotherapy and wellness suite as part of a ~20,000-square-foot renovation, purpose-built for professional athlete recovery and sports medicine integration.

Highlights include a 50-foot, two-lane lap pool with variable-depth lanes for aquatic therapy and low-impact conditioning, hot and cold plunge pools totaling over 650 sq. ft. for contrast hydrotherapy, and an integrated HydroWorx 2000 underwater treadmill.
