When you're in the business of performance, efficiency matters. This week, we're looking back at our solar install at iMotorsports in Elmhurst, Illinois! 🏎️ 💨

This 200.64 kW ground-mounted array was installed over the dealership's parking lot, serving a dual purpose: generating enough clean energy to offset 100% of its annual energy use, while providing shaded protection for vehicles stored underneath.

With a 5.5-year payback period and projected 30-year savings of over $460,000, this project delivered impressive results from day one. Even more remarkably, approximately 90% of the system cost was offset through incentives.

It’s hard to believe that since 2006, we’ve been growing alongside you, our incredible community of current and future solar champions.

Take a look back with us at the famous solar install at the Cerf Center at Eureka College! 📚💡

Installed in August 2021, this 155.63 kW system featured 415 REC 375W panels paired with 2 SolarEdge inverters, bringing clean energy to a historic campus setting in Eureka, Illinois.

The system was estimated to generate approximately 209,857 kWh of electricity annually, with projected savings of $173,668 over 10 years. A standout from our archives, this project is a strong example of how solar can power the future in more ways than one.

This service job was anything but typical when some of this Golden sunshine showed up! 🐶☀️

These Golden Retriever puppies stopped by to supervise our team working on replacing some conduit a few weeks ago. Even though the pups didn't lift a single tool, they clearly brightened up the whole job site!

Congratulations to Chris H. and Donny R. on completing the Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) Apprenticeship Classroom Training! 👏

144 hours of classroom instruction are required, along with 8,000 hours of hands-on experience in the field. Once completed, apprentices earn Department of Labor certification as Professional Electricians.

Programs like IEC are a key part of how our team continues to grow, strengthen skills, and uphold high standards across every project.

We currently have 19 employees enrolled, and we’re proud to support their progress by covering tuition and investing in their development. ☀️
