One thing I've been thinking about lately:

Business leadership is never just about business.

The way we lead impacts far more than revenue, strategy, or growth goals. It shapes the culture people work in, the stress they carry home, the way families are affected, and the example others see modeled every day.

Leadership has ripple effects.

That's why integrity matters. How we treat people matters. The values we reinforce matter.

At the end of the day, strong leadership isn't only measured by what we build - but by the impact we leave behind in the lives of others.

Where have you seen leadership positively impact people beyond the workplace? ⬇️

This morning's devotion challenged me to think differently about prayer. Too often, I come to God focused on the answer I want instead of the relationship He wants with me.

As leaders, parents, spouses, and business owners, it can be difficult to accept God's will when the outcome doesn't look the way we hoped it would. But faith isn't built only in the victories - it's built in the surrender, trust, and obedience when we don't fully understand the plan. Sometimes the greatest growth happens when we stop asking God to follow our agenda and start asking Him to shape our hearts through the process.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage, service, and sacrifice will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

Wishing everyone a reflective Memorial Day as we pause with gratitude and remembrance.

The pace of change in business has never been this fast... and it will never be this slow again.

That creates a real leadership tension: move too quickly and lose clarity; wait too long and lose ground.

The challenge isn't simply innovating more - it's knowing where innovation is actually needed. Wise leaders learn to balance protecting what's already been entrusted to them while also positioning their business for what's next.

Innovation without alignment can create noise. But innovation rooted in clarity and stewardship creates momentum.

Where have you seen this show up in leadership or business recently?

One thing I'm seeing more often in leadership conversations: people don't need more noise - they need more clarity.

Clear expectations, honest communication, and steady leadership make a bigger difference than we sometimes realize.

What a great day at the Solving the World's Greatest Problems Conference Watch Party.

I'm grateful for the meaningful conversations, fresh perspectives, and honest discussions around how leaders can use their influence, businesses, and resources to create lasting impact. One of the biggest takeaways for me was the reminder that real change happens when leaders are willing to collaborate, think beyond themselves, and lead with intentionality.

Thankful for everyone who joined us and contributed to such a valuable discussion.

One of the most valuable things about sitting around a table with other leaders is realizing you're not the only one carrying hard decisions.

Leadership can feel isolating at times, which is why honest conversations with trusted peers matter so much. There's wisdom, perspective, and encouragement that comes from learning alongside other leaders who understand the weight of responsibility.

This month, we're leaning into something every leader feels, but not everyone knows how to act on: truly caring for your people in a meaningful, structured way.

Many leaders want to lead with care, but aren't sure where to start. Mary Elaine Baker and Brett Baker faced that same tension, and discovered that taking one intentional step can begin to shift everything.

The Caring Matrix gives leaders a practical framework to build a culture where people are valued beyond performance - without losing clarity, structure, or accountability.

Lead with care - on purpose.

This morning in my devotion, I was reminded that our Heavenly Father call us to pray for the people who challenge, criticize, or even taunt us - not to seek revenge or prove a point.

As leaders, that can be one of the hardest things to do. Our instinct is often to defend, react, or take control. But true leadership - and true faith - means choosing what is right, trusting God with the outcome, and leaving the rest in His hands.

Not every battle needs our response. Sometimes the greatest strength is found in obedience, humility, and prayer.

One pattern I've been noticing in conversations with leaders lately is how easy it is to stay busy while slowly drifting from what actually matters most.

We fill our days with good work - but not always the right work. The kind that moves the mission forward, strengthens our people, and aligns with who we're called to be as leaders.

This week, I've been asking a simple question: Is where I'm spending my time producing the kind of fruit I actually want to see?

It's a small shift - but an honest one.
